Accessible boating for people with reduced mobility

Thames Sailability provides accessible boating for wheelchair users, people with reduced mobility, and those with learning challenges.

Thames Sailability's specially adapted motorboat, Impossible Dream, allows our passengers to enjoy boating on the Thames. We have a boarding ramp for access by users of wheelchairs, powered chairs and people with reduced mobility, and a safe covered cabin area.

Impossible Dream sails all year round, and can make short and longer trips for groups and individuals.

Boarding locations

Our fully qualified volunteer crew usually takes on and drops off passengers at Cowey Sale, on the riverside by Walton Bridge. There is a large car park, toilets and a refreshment bar. To find out about other boarding locations, get in touch.
